Intellectual property protection and DMCA / Indian Copyright Act takedown procedures
Vastoco respects intellectual property rights under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. We provide a swift takedown process for unauthorized portfolio photography or design theft.
1. Filing a Copyright Infringement Takedown Notice
If you believe your architectural photography, floor plan drawings, or 3D renders have been copied without authorization on Vastoco, send a written notice to legal@vastoco.in containing:
- Link to the infringing image/project on Vastoco.
- Proof of original copyright ownership or publication date.
- Your full name, contact information, and physical or electronic signature.
2. Filing a Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake (e.g. you own the rights, or it falls under fair use), you may submit a counter-notice to legal@vastoco.in with proof of ownership or licensing. We will review and may reinstate the content if the counter-notice is valid, after notifying the original complainant.

How fast are copyright takedown requests acted upon?
Valid takedown notices are acted upon within 24 hours by removing or disabling access to the infringing content.
What if my own work was wrongly taken down?
File a counter-notice at legal@vastoco.in with proof of ownership. We review counter-notices within 5 business days.
