Community Guidelines
Code of conduct for clients, professionals, students, and studios on Vastoco
Vastoco is a respectful, merit-driven marketplace. We strictly enforce guidelines prohibiting fake reviews, harassment, price-gouging, and unethical practice behavior.
1. Professional & Respectful Interaction
All users agree to communicate professionally during project inquiries, consultations, and micro-task collaborations. Defamatory, discriminatory, or abusive language will result in immediate permanent suspension.
2. Authentic Client Reviews & No Astroturfing
Reviews can only be submitted following verified consultations or completed projects. Posting fake self-reviews, paying for artificial reviews, or review-extortion by clients is prohibited.
3. Prohibited Conduct
The following will result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity:
- Creating multiple accounts to bypass a suspension or manipulate search ranking.
- Sharing personal contact details in public listings solely to route bookings off-platform before a first verified consultation.
- Uploading someone else's project photos, floor plans, or credentials as your own.
- Discriminating against any user based on religion, caste, gender, or region.
- Spamming clients or professionals with unsolicited bulk messages.
4. Account Suspension & Appeals
Where possible, we issue a warning before suspension. Accounts involved in fraud, safety risk, or repeated violations may be suspended immediately without prior warning.
- You will receive an email explaining the reason for suspension.
- You can appeal within 15 days by writing to community@vastoco.in with your account email and an explanation.
- Appeals are reviewed by a human, not an automated system, within 5 business days.
