01Who this applies to
These conditions apply to anyone who registers as a professional on Vastoco: Architects, Interior Designers and Vastu Consultants, working alone or as part of a firm. They add to our Terms and Conditions and the Conditions of Use and Professional Services. You must be at least 18 years old, able to contract under Indian law, and located in India.
02How you may use Vastoco
- Build a verified public profile with your services, experience, pricing and availability.
- Publish portfolio projects, and choose which projects also appear on the Inspiration page.
- Receive leads. See what a paid plan lets you do with them in the Professional Terms.
- Run paid video consultations, record an Outcome Summary and receive payouts.
- Reply to reviews, manage documents and see analytics for your profile.
- Create a firm page once your personal profile is live and verified.
03Verification duties
- Architects must hold a valid Council of Architecture registration and give the correct registration number. We check it against the Council's public record.
- Interior Designers and Vastu Consultants must upload the degree, diploma or certificate they rely on. We review the document. We do not call it a registry check.
- Every document must be genuine, readable and yours. A forged or altered document means immediate suspension and possible reporting to the authorities.
- Keep credentials current. Renew before expiry and tell us at once about any suspension, cancellation, disciplinary action or restriction on your practice.
Verification means we reviewed specific information at a point in time. It is not an endorsement or a warranty of your work. Clients see a badge that names what was checked.
04Professional rules you must follow
- You are responsible for following the laws and professional rules that apply to you. Architects remain bound by the Architects Act, 1972 and the Council of Architecture's professional conduct regulations, including any rules on advertising and soliciting work. Check that your use of any platform complies.
- Only a person registered with the Council of Architecture may use the title Architect. Do not describe yourself with a title or credential you do not hold.
- Do not promise guaranteed results. This applies to cost savings, approvals, resale value and, for Vastu advice, health, wealth, relationships or legal outcomes. Do not use fear to sell a service.
- Claims and testimonials must be true and provable. Misleading advertising is unlawful under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Hold the licences, insurance and permissions your work needs.
05Leads and consultations
- Respond to leads and bookings promptly and honestly. Join consultations on time.
- A consultation is advice. Do not present it as a guarantee of approval, cost, timeline or construction outcome.
- Submit the Outcome Summary after each consultation. A payout is released only after it is submitted.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows can lead to lower visibility, suspension or removal.
- You may take on work with a client after a consultation, off the platform, under your own written agreement. Do not use Vastoco to collect contact details so that you can avoid a consultation the client has booked.
06Your content and the Inspiration page
- Upload only work that you created or have the right to show. Get your client's permission before publishing a project that shows their home or confidential details.
- Do not copy another person's work, or present AI-generated or stock images as your own project.
- Inspiration is view-only. Turning a project's Inspiration setting off removes its pins without deleting your portfolio.
- Images must be 10 MB or smaller and videos 200 MB or smaller. We may remove unlawful, infringing or misleading content.
07Reviews
- Reviews come from clients after real consultations. You cannot edit or delete a review.
- Do not buy, trade, request or fake reviews, and do not pressure or take revenge on a client who left one.
- If you think a review is false or abusive, use the Report option. We will review it and may label or remove it.
08Client data you receive
When a client shares their details with you, you must use them only for that consultation or project, keep them secure, not share or sell them, and not send marketing messages without the client's consent. You are responsible for how you handle that data once you have it.
09Conduct that can lead to suspension
- Fake identity, forged credentials, plagiarism or fabricated reviews.
- Fraud, payment manipulation or evading Vastoco's commission.
- Harassment, discrimination, threats or exploitation of clients or other professionals.
- Misuse of client or professional data.
- Scraping, spam, malware or interfering with the platform.
For serious concerns we may suspend an account straight away. For others we usually give notice and a chance to explain first. You may appeal by writing to the Grievance Officer with supporting information.
