Terms and Conditions for Career Applicants

These terms are between you and Vastoco Private Limited ("Vastoco"). By creating a candidate account or submitting an application you accept them, together with our Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Notice for Career Applicants and the Conditions of Use for Career Applicants.

• Applying, being shortlisted or being interviewed does not create an employment or internship relationship.
• A relationship begins only when both of us have signed a written offer or agreement.
• We may close, change or pause a role at any time, and we may decline an application without giving a reason.
• We do not pay for applying, interviewing or completing an assignment unless we agree this in writing beforehand.

You confirm that your application, resume, links and answers are true, complete and yours. A false or misleading statement can lead to rejection, withdrawal of an offer or termination.

For some roles we may verify your education, past employment or references. We will tell you what we will check and ask for your consent first. Any check will be done through the contacts you give us or a verification agency, and you may decline, but then we may not be able to proceed.

You own the work you produce for any test or assignment. You allow us to review it to evaluate you. We will not use it in our products or business without your written agreement. You must not share confidential information of any other person or employer.

If we share non-public information with you during hiring, such as product plans or internal documents, keep it confidential and use it only for the hiring process.

You may withdraw an application or close your candidate account at any time by writing to us. We will then handle your data as described in the Privacy Notice for Career Applicants.

Vastoco is not liable for loss that you suffer because a role was changed or closed, or because you did not receive a response. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Indian law applies. Please first raise the issue with our Grievance Officer. Disputes that remain unresolved are handled as set out in the complaints and dispute resolution section of our Terms and Conditions: arbitration seated at Agra, Uttar Pradesh for commercial disputes that can be arbitrated, and the courts at Agra for the rest. Nothing in this document stops a consumer from approaching a Consumer Commission or using any other remedy that the law gives.
